Fort Lauderdale’s Perfect Pairing: The Collaboration of BREW and Next Door at C&I
Quickly… off the top of your head, is there any one place in Fort Lauderdale where you can go to enjoy artisan coffees, craft beer & cocktails, and original live music?
If you are thinking to yourself, “Hmm, I’m not too sure…” then we’ll have to stop you right there. You clearly don’t know about our relationship with Next Door at C&I. 🙂
We’ve known the guys and gals at C&I Studios since the very beginning. If you want to say “hey” or do some investigating into the studio next door, just pop your head past the hidden bookshelf door. Don’t be shy!
Anyway, when BREW was at its youngest, Next Door at C&I was already doing their thing. When we would close shop at 7 PM, Next Door at C&I would step in to host various community events like Movie Night, Comedy Club, Respek The Mic!, and—you guessed it—live music. All of which are still going strong.
Today, our relationship with Next Door at C&I is even stronger and the experiences we collaborate on are even better.
Every day, Next Door chef Zach Mein prepares some really tasty breakfast and lunch options for all of our guests. He just printed out a new menu, so give it a gander next time you are waiting on your coffee. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, after all.
We also do bottomless mimosas for brunch on the weekends now!
Every Saturday and Sunday BREW and Next Door at C&I serve mimosa concoctions prepared to your liking and Pork Belly Eggs Benedict in addition to our regular menu items, like our Avocado Spread and selection of delicious pastries.
What’s really valuable about our relationship with Next Door at C&I is that it gives our guests options you won’t find at any other coffeehouse in Fort Lauderdale.
For instance, Brew and Next Door at C&I essentially share a Happy Hour. From 4-7 PM the bartenders at Next Door mix-up cocktails while our baristas froth lattes. Which means, some unlikely mixtures are available at your request.
Ask the bartenders about energizing Happy Hour with an alcoholic cold brew… amongst other playfully caffeinated recipes. Our baristas and the bartenders Next Door at C&I are always keen on creating seasonal selections for our guests, so be sure to ask about any drink specials they’re offering for the day/night.
Let’s break it down for you…
If you are among the many creatives and business professionals using our free wifi to get some work done, you no longer have to head home once we turn off the coffee machines.
When 5 o’clock rolls around and you’ve reached your maximum productivity level for the day, it’s time to take a chill-pill. And you’re already in the right place to do so.
Our relationship with Next Door at C&I means that after we close up there is still plenty of culture to absorb and conversations to be had. So, chill… there’s no sense in rushing off before Happy Hour is over… that is unless you want to get some fresh air and check out these awesome spots nearby.
So, here’s what you can expect throughout the week when you’re hanging out after Happy Hour:
By far our favorite aspect of the collaboration with Next Door at C&I is the live musical performances on select Saturdays.
While we serve up that tasty brunch we already spoke about, Next Door at C&I occasionally hosts local musicians to perform original LIVE music throughout the day.
This week we’re hosting John Lee on the ukulele. Has a nice ring to it, don’t it. 😉
Be sure to follow Next Door at C&I on Facebook so you don’t miss out on any events or live musical performances.
