BREW believes that a commitment to human beings and local communities is essential to build anything that’s truly sustainable. This commitment extends from the customers we serve in our stores to the farmers that grow the beans we brew. Thus, virtually all of the beans we buy are purchased through the Direct Trade™ program developed by Intelligentsia, our roaster. We pay a premium for the best beans available from the best farms in the americas, africa & indonesia and part of this extra cost goes directly into the farmers pockets to allow them to keep growing and improving their trade.
